Eight ladies tenuously intertwined by work and life have found camaraderie and creative outreach by gathering together from time to time in the gracious hospitality of one another. Come visit and explore with us through these digital pages and glimpse a little of what we think is a unique gift of friendship bestowed upon us all.

Meet Wine Women in Oil...This unique group of eight formed in 2003 to encourage their personal creativity and, in most cases, rediscover their long buried passion of painting. Their blend of individuality and co-dependence is one-of-a-kind.

Many of their exhibited works are true collaborations of styles. One member determines the subject matter, divides it into nine squares and “assigns” each member a piece. It is with great excitement that the women meet, finish the ninth square between glasses of wine, hunks of cheese and chocolate in some form. Then with excitement building, they line the squares up and see the whole picture. Each square is a reflection of the artist and the resulting painting illustrates how differences can create a symphonic whole.
